Rumours are incorrect. There is an OEM one available from Renault with 
allows the "lip" to go in a different place in case the crank has a 
groove worn in it, but they are about 6 times the price of an 
aftermarket/Volvo one.
In fact over here at least, the rear main is cheaper than the smaller 
front main seal.
I have recently fitted one of John's double lip seals to a 2.5 turbo 
engine I have just built. So far in testing and mapping, it hasn't 
leaked a drop. I've seen a brand new crate 3.0 turbo PRV leaking like a 
seive, and most of the Z7U engines I've seen (the 2.5 turbo) have been 
wet around the rear main.
