Um. . . 
I believe the hotel is only available to DCS 2008 attendees. 
And call me crazy,(I am),  but if you're going to be there, you should 
pay for being there. 
 
I thought it was obvious, but in very simple terms: 
 
1. There are expenses involved in producing an event. 
2. The registration fee helps cover these expenses. 
 
Whether looking at it financially, -or simple good manners: 
You don't show up to a party, eat the cake, meet the celebrity guests, 
enjoy the benefits, etc.  -and NOT bring a gift for the host!

ps: It was a chunk of money and I'm not rich, but I figure in two 
years I've been able to save up enough pennies to attend again.  I'm 
worth it, and DCS is worth it.
