Many times I have seen where the oil pressure sender switch on the
rear, left side leaks and it can appear to be coming from the oil pan
the way it spreads around. I would see if it is moist and dirty around
it and if it is reseal or replace it before tearing the motor apart.
The wire is probably cooked too so a short piece of it running
alongside the motor should be replaced with a high temperature wire or
sleeve. A Rule-Of-Thumb is that leaks generally leak down and from
front-to-back. This means look up and forward to find the source of a
leak.
