And I used to own vin 00570,But how can you start at vin # 500 and 
call vin # 1897(it should be car # 1397 built and vin 1500 should 
have been the 1000th car) the 1000th car,and then have vin # 910 on 
the first load of cars to come off the boat.
We know the first 150-170 cars or so were not shipped.But what 
happened after that.Again if you do simple math it suggests that Vin 
# 897 was the first car to be shipped.Sure there could have been a 
straggler or two before vin 897 that went on the ship,with the first 
shipment,but again how could 396 cars be unaccounted for in early 
production.
