Didn't the Alpine use 15" rims the whole way 'round? If so, discrepancy still doesn't match ours. People get so razzle-dazzled by the doors I sometimes think they fail to look at anything else on the car. Close the doors, stand back, and the first that jumps into your mind is "wow, those back wheels are HUGE" (or conversely, "wow, the front wheels really are rather small, especially relative to those HUGE back wheels"). Any explanation for the inadequate spare tire well?
