IIRC:  historically, and in speaking with other owners with turbos, a car
with an Island Turbo kit never really increased the value of a car overall.
The total condition of the car tends to set the price.   People with an
Island kit never saw any increase in value (more then $1-1.5k) on the total
price of the car.

The high bidder is from Italy. If the sale does go through I guess the car
IS going to Italy. About a month a go Mike Paine sold his car to a buyer in
Italy. I guess they are starting a Delorean club over there!!!! A little
disappointed it only got up to $21,100. I was hoping for closer to $25,000.
I can't complain but I thought a turbo car would be worth more.
