I have to agree with John on one point here, he and I and others go "out-on-a-limb" here trying to help other owners with their problems. Sometimes we don't get it exactly right the first time but there is always someone ready to snipe and nit-pick our answers. In some cases it is fair but all too often it is a minor point of no consequence. Critizice if you must but also try to contribute. We are all here because we enjoy the Delorean in common. My goal is to try to get as many "on the road" so the public can see they are still "out there". I am and always have been "fair game" because I have put myself up as a self-appointed "expert" on Deloreans. As extensive as my knowledge may be I get things wrong too (and I am not alwys the best typist). John, being a vendor, I guess he is also considered fair game. That doesn't mean others can't help out in a more positive way. Sometimes if you disagree on a certain point a mention "off-list" so the origional poster can correct things is just common courtesy. In such case the origional poster should also give credit where credit is due. If you have problems with a particular vendor it should be dealt with directly. As far as I know most of the Delorean vendors will go out of their way to please a customer, there are so few of us and we talk to each other!
