I posted a mesage about a month ago about the mice smell in my car.
Well, most of your suggestions were correct. The jack compartment
showed little debris at first (but really smelled), so i poked around
with the shop vac a little and didn't get much, so i decided to fill
the compartment with water, and boy did I get some junk. Mice nests,
acorns, walnut shells and hundreds of droppings floated out. I had to
suck out the water with the shop vac, washed it out several times with
soap and lastly with vinegar. Then febreeze. Next I removed the rear
carpet piece on the back wall and there are 2 foam pads, and the little
critters chewed their own little homes in them. What a mess. Thanks
to all of you who posted I am on the road to a better smelling car.
