And after all of that is said and done, if it is the
dust cap, when you have  installed a new one     
L-U-B-R-I-C-A-T-E  the cable.  ChicagoPaul.
PS, FWIW... Looks like I'll be parting out a '91 Olds
Silhouette. Anybody need pieces???
