Bernie Manderville beat you to it.  Check out http://dmcvins.com, seems to be exactly what you're talking about.  I haven't looked at this site since he set it up, seems like quite a few people have submitted their pictures, myself included!  :)

  I had an idea this morning about hosting a webpage with all the DeLorean
  owners and their cars.

  It would basically be a database or list if you will, but of pictures, in
  order by VIN.

  The only criteria would be that you (the owner of the car) HAVE TO be IN THE
  PICTURE with your car.
