In my post of 6/4/07 I made a mistake and mentioned the wrong product. I intended to advise Black Again and instead stated Black to Black. Back Again is a product that I have been using for 5 years and am very happy with. I am familiar with Back to Black and agree with Ryan's comments about it. When I bought my refurbished DeLorean 6 years ago the louver looked factory new. In a year it had started to become a dullish gray in corner areas and I could find no product to bring it back. I found Black Again online at www.autogeek.net and it did the job. My first bottle cost $7.95. Classic Motoring Accessories in Tampa FL sells it for $6.95 or a case of 6 for $29.95. I have used it for 5 years and my louvers look better than when I took delivery of the car. One final word, My car is not a daily driver and I can't say how long the product would last in the sun on a daily driver. My car is garaged in a climate controlled area and is driven around 2,000 miles per year. Black Again is a clear product a little less thick than honey. I have found that it goes on best when the louvers are warm but not extremely hot. I also use it on the black part of the outside mirrors, the fiberglass portion of the shell that is exposed, especially in the trunk area and the rear plate holder and front air dam. I have found no other product to be as good. I disagree. I found this product to be fine for a quick treatment before a show, but otherwise useless. It looks good for maybe a few days of normal, daily driving, then fades and leaves the car looking worse off than before. I bought some more expensive stuff online and, while significantly better, still faded away. I would not waste my time with these products. -Ryan --------------------------------- Fussy? Opinionated?
