Hi All I've decided to put the feelers out for getting rid of some of the rarer items on my shelf. I don't think I'll ever use this stuff because I'm keen to go down the 3 litre route, so it's just sitting there and is a factory 250hp drop-in engine. You'll need to do some plumbing of exhaust and intake pipework, and ideally include an intercooler, but no modifications to the car or existing components will be required. You'll also have to wire in an ecu.... A known good basic 2458cc GTA V6 Turbo engine which I will fit a DeLorean crank case to. I will supply a brand new intake manifold and injector rails (worth £500 on their own) An EFI bellhousing to bolt up to your existing transmission (this is almost identical apart from the ECU's trigger sensor) I have a proper EFI flywheel which I will modify in the same way as was done on twin turbo #2727 I will supply a brand new engine management system that supports that pattern (worth £650 - $1300). This ecu will drive the stock ignition system. I will also include a new genuine flywheel trigger sensor. £1500 ($3000). Much of this is the cost of the ECU! What you'll need to do: 1: Fit a sump! There's little point in my buying and shipping one over from the us only to ship the engine back. I'll include a new gasket 2: Buy a set of injectors of your choice - standard Bosch type 3: Plumb in your turbo(s) and exhaust. The engine is externally identical so any existing turbo kit will bolt straight on (this is how I did #2727) 4: Install a throttle body of your choice. 5: Add in sensors required by the ECU and map up. The ECU comes with full instructions and tech support. Any questions, drop me a mail. This is a project for the experienced DIY-er.
