  I didn't seperate the halves, just took it off the manifold. Thanks for letting me

  Jason, If you took the fuel distributor apart, like separating the up and
  lower half be sure to look for seepage. Normally they will leak because of
  the 75lb's of pressure and you may catch the car on fire. Normally that is
  left to the professionals.
