I agree with Rod. I, however, did hook up the heater option for 
these mirrors and am glad I took the extra time to do so.  Since the 
car was supposed to have them anyway being prewired and all, I 
figured it would be worth the effort.
Fog,haze or rain rapidly disappear leaving them clear as a bell.  
The less expensive mirrors stick-on sound like a good alternative 
but if you want heated mirrors as the car was designed to have, I'd 
recommend Tom's highly.
