Dielectric grease inhibits the electrolysis that occurs when two differing metals are in direct contact. I believe it was developed specifically for aluminum/copper connections but was found to be helpful when any two dissimilar metals are in contact.

Wow, nice 100V system, you must be the only one on the world who uses a 100V system in a car :-)
Maybe you should apply at BOSCH, they tried to install 42V Systems in cars for several years now and I still haven't seen those cars around. Good job :-)
My Voltmeter was very low, too lately until I cleaned and reeplaced the two bolts that feed the +12V and Ground thru the firewall. The +12V bolt
was very oxydiced and I can tell you the difference is big !
Even a oversized alternator can't fix that because current can't flow
where the resistance is too big.
Clean those contacts and enjoy the improvement.
By the way - what is this dielectric grease stuff ? I read
it almost daily here on the forum but have never seen it
here in europe but cars still run pretty good...
