My gauge is positioned at about 3000 rpms before I put the key in
the ignition. When I engage the key (before turning over), the gauge
reads at 1000, and stays there when I start the engine. When I shut
off the car and pull the key, the needle returns back to 3000. Any
ideas? Still sound like a connection, or is it a bad gauge?
Thanks,
Paul
