One hundred percent correct,been there,as when I bought a Bricklin to 
restore back in 1992,and put it thru inspection the DPO(dreaded 
previous owner)for some reason had run a "fifth" Rivet thru the door 
Vin tag,and my motor vehicles made a BIG stink out of that,even tho 
the four original rivet's were still there,they did a VERY close 
inspection on that Vin tag for any kind of tampering/removal,and 
determined after  quite a bit of investigation,that,that Vin tag was 
the original and belonged with that car.
