Actually, having the officer(s) over may be a very good idea. I would bet they are not as familiar with the De Lorean as they could be. You guys could show them a few things so they know better what to look for if this event ever happens again in their area. They could also get an up close and personal look at the car, for example what the seats look like, which may help other owners in the future. Maybe they could offer you guys some tips as well about how to make the car more secure.
