Yeah, I've got a retort for the typical question.

"Hey? Where's the Flux Capacitor?" 

"I removed it." I tell them, "It was screwing up my gas 
mileage." 

Usually with a grin, and they get a chuckle and don't ask 
anymore stupid questions. But, sometimes I answer with a straight 
face if I'd been asked that a few times that day. ;) :D
