List: I'm in the process of doing some under-the-car work (Clutch line, accumulator, fuel filter, etc) and am getting a little tired of decompressing my lungs to fit under the car while on the ground. I am also a little weary of jacking it up using a standard hydraulic floor jack and stands because of all the talk about cracked windshields due to improper jacking. What is the best way to lift the car with basic tools (2.25 ton hydraulic jack). Should I try to lift the entire end of the car as opposed to just on wheel to keep the body straight?
