Bob is correct!  Geez, did I really say that :).

I belong to the VW forum on the Samba.  It is
moderated, but you wouldn't believe so because it is
so "open".  BUT, there are a number of unethical and
unacceptable types of activity that can get you
banned.  

No problem using a nickname, because your profile is
known to others.  Even private emails that are flames
or scams can get you banned.

It is a great forum and so loose and fun you'd never
know there was a moderator.  

To those who want privacy,  I respect that.  But
anonimity should come with caveats.  In other words,
abuse it and you lose it.
