Go with 87.  It's cheaper, higher octanes don't offer any performance  
boosts, and I'll even go one further and say that the owner's manual clearly  states 
to use 87 (US method; Eurospec was 91 I think).  The DeLorean's PRV  engines 
are *not* high-compression ratio, nor are we turbocharged  (usually).  Higher 
octane (as far as I know) will prevent pinging  (pre-detonation), and *only* 
that, and usually does not offer any boosts in  performance.  Just drains the 
wallet that much more that could be spent  elsewhere.  :-)
