I took a new Donge Magnum HEMI for a test drive yesterday,
it has an AUTO 5-speed.
I can tell you, there is no need for a manual with these new engines and
transmissions.
This friggin station wagon does 60 in 6 seconds, with almost 400 lbs of
torque, and 350 horsepower, the auto can be manually controlled.
It was Fred Dellis that said that a Turbo AUTO would beat a stick because it
could change
gears without letting off the gas to shift and could give power through all
the cycles.
This is why the new automatics are taking over.
I never thought I would see an auto in a Lamborghini.
Progress my man.
