mike Make sure your pressing the cable into the speedometer so that clip on the back Holds it in place. then if thats fine take your rim off the car & turn the studs by hand while checking the speedo to make sure it's working, most of the time the angle drive is seized up or broken, but the plastic speedo dust cap on hub may not be seating in or the lower cable might be stripped.
