I am going to make a guess here but I bet you have a 5-speed. If I am right then the "unknown connector" is only used in the automatic. It is for the forced downshift at W.O.T. It would connect to a micro switch that is activated when the throttle is full open (Wide Open Thottle). It would be stacked next to the other micro for the Lambda system.
