response was, "What colour is the interior?" As you know, they changed 
fuel pumps and that went along with the interiour colour change

[10/27 22:54] (244) Digger: Minox - one fuel pump was readily 
available, one was not. The easiest way to tell was by the interiour of 
the car colour.

[10/27 22:54] (2) Minox: Deloreans were grey or black from 1981 to 1983
[10/27 22:55] (2) Minox: no note in fuel pump changes in regards to 
color
[10/27 22:55] (244) Digger: Minox - well the client mis-understood, and 
they went several rounds akin to "Who is on First?" before he 
understood what she was driving at

grey
[10/27 22:55] (244) Digger: Minox - gotcha, I'm just relating to what 
she had told me
[10/27 22:56] (244) Digger: and for her dealer, if the interiour was 
black, they were good to go, otherwise the client was SOL
[10/27 22:56] (244) Digger: Minox - only Delorean story I know, me I 
just drive the Italian stuff
