You cannot trust the reading of a DeLorean oil guage unless you have 
replaced the sending unit with a proper calibrated unit or had the 
OEM unit "cleaned". The OEM senders never had the correct resistence 
because of a coating on the contact arm inside the unit. The OEM 
units read too high 99 percent of the time.
