These are very risky deals. One as negelected as this one I would personally not buy unless I could turn it around and "part it out" for about the same $ including something for my time. Very unlikely I can do that. It looks like a core car. If someone needs a frame??? fenders, fiberglass, etc., maybe. Buy this one AND John Hervey's and I bet you still need $5,000 to make a good, reliable D. But, then you will have some stuff left over to keep you stocked for a while in basic parts. This all assumes a do-it-yourself project. Let's face it, there are just too many available for around $15,000- $20,000 that are good DeLoreans that can be worked on in stages and yet still be a fun drive while you perfect it to your liking.
