Hi Bill I seem to remember a loooong time ago, someone else suggested this, but it's not a great idea for several reasons: 1) You're busting an expensive stock item 2) making the exhaust flow more freely has a lot to do with the shape of the pipe as well as the restrictions, and the cat "box" (s'cuse the pun) is not exactly the right shape for a free flowing exhaust. 3) As I mentioned in my last post, the size of the outlet pipe on the cat is quite strangled I also forgot to metion that the bypass pipe from Ed is high quality and personally I think $90 is more than reasonable. Does anyone need a NOS cat with only 6000 miles on it? :-))) Martin #1458 #4426 Original Message: ----------------- From: content22207 brobertson@xxxx You can accomplish the same thing by simply removing the honeycomb from your existing converter. -------------------------------------------------------------------- mail2web - Check your email from the web at http://mail2web.com/ .
