Hey all, I flew Jim Reeve down from Minnesota to help me with some projects. I wanted to publicly thank him for his great work and let you all know he's really a wiz at DeLorean wiring. One of the projects was that we installed red LED third brakelights on my louver by running the wires down the quarter panel and spliced them into the brake light wires and the ground right before the plug that connects them with the circuit board. They work perfectly. When the brake lights come on, so do the red LEDs. I did the same thing with amber LEDs for the turn signals. Wired the same way and sharing the ground with the brakelights (from the plug going into the circuit board.) The problem is when I hit the turn signal switch or the hazards switch, the turn signals work as normal but the LEDs do not work along with them. We checked polarity and they are wired just as the red LEDs are, and the red ones work, just no joy on the amber ones. Anyone have a similar problem or run into something like this? Let me know, we're stumped! Thanks, Matthew VIN #16816 VIN #10365-a good stripping project for someone who wants a mechanically sound D.
