Electo-luminescent gauge face

While browsing the paper version of the Bavarian Motorsport May/June
specials catalogue, I noted a dash insert offered on their page 14. The
gauges are shown in blue, but the description says the color is instantly
switchable to green. The same switch determines the level of intensity.
While this catalogue is for BMWs this technology could be interesting for
livening up our humble Delorean dashes.

They ask for a year and model...I put in 1993 318i (they aren't made for all
years). Then I used the search window to find "Dash gauges". The items
shown can be enlarged, and they change color.

There is also an optional Aluminum gauge face. All require removal of the
needles to install and they include a tool to do so.

Maybe an entrepeneur among us would want to research the manufacturer or
technology.
