Actually your rear door pin hitting the door is quite common. And I'll bet the front pin is just short too. The fix for the rear pin is a 1-1/2" hole saw. Remove the pin, wrap the drill bit of the hole saw with some tape so you don't bore out the threads in the pin nut and saw through the fiberglass to the frame.
