Hello all of you ignition coil fans - I just thought that I would chime in with my two cents' worth. I installed an MSD Blaster 2 coil, part number 8202, with no changes to any electrical connections common to the coil circuit. According to Tech Support at the manufacturer, the Blaster 2 puts out 45,000 volts at nominal input voltage, with a spark duration that is twice that found in most OEM coils. My car seems to love it, especially in conjunction with the MSW solid core plug wires (zero resistance), Bosch +4 plugs, and the K&N air filter.
