ebay Delorean 601095323

There is a red Delorean on eBay right now. I remember seeing this at 
the Cleveland car show in 2000. I heard from someone there that the 
then owner, or maybe even current owner, was in a serious car 
accident with it. Then had the car fixed and painted. Does anyone 
know of any truth to this?
