Sorry guys, but I don't agree. If you swap the bars end-for-end at the same time you swap sides, the actuation direction would be correct. For instance, if the LH bar broke, you could install a RH bar on the left side if you installed the splined end into the LH forward hinge (with some challenging modifications to the hinge), and the square end into a redesigned retention bracket in the back. I'm not suggesting that this is practical, but it is possible.
