If the struts are new, then your torsion bars need to go up a notch. If this makes the doors bounce at the top, then you need to get the struts that have the "brakes" built into them. My doors open fine when it gets "cold" here (40F, ha ha) and go FLYING up when the car has been baking the Texas heat, but they still don't bounce because the struts stop the travel slowly. The struts installed on my car by the previous owner bounced; the ones I got from my local DMC parts supplier do not.
