Steve, You sound like a true car crafter. The Eagle motor has both higher horsepower and a broader torque curve. You will find your D very enjoyable to drive. What is nice about the 3 liter swap is that no upgrade to the cooling system is necessary. An engine/transmission adapter plate, that uses up 1" of space in the engine compartment, is also unnecessary. This 1" may sound trivial but in the small D engine bay it is really important. Take lots of pictures and build a web site. Try to dyno test the car after you are done. The results will be very interesting. Bob Brandys
