Buying a DeLorean - The First Time Owner - First Car

This is for anyone who might be buying a DeLorean for the First time as a 
first car.

I agree that you should have a second reliable car when purchasing a 
DeLorean so you can still get around while you make your DeLorean look 
excellent and run like a champ. Here is a suggestion for the young car owner 
who is buying a first car: [I know it is a sin to mention another car over a 
DeLorean, but hear me out] See if you can an old VW Scirocco. I recently 
managed to find one and will purchase it as a first car and as my daily 
driver while I prepare for my DeLorean purchase. This particular VW was 
designed by Guigaro (or however you spell his name) who also - suprise - 
designed the DeLorean. The similarities are remarkable. The fronts are so 
close if a see a silver Scirocco from the distance I get the two confused. 
Just a thought from someone who is in the same boat with you.

Also I am not saying to buy this car over the DeLorean (NEVER) but for a 
student with limited income, it might be an econmical purchase while you 
work on your delorean.
