When installing the 300HP blown Chev V-6 in my car, I made reinforcing plates that bolt inside of the frame rails from the main crossmember back. The tubular motor mount was then welded to that, with legs that also go forward to the stock DMC motor mount pads on the crossmember. So far, I have seen no evidence of any frame flexing or other problems. But I am still trying to get my twisted-in-two transmission input shaft repaired.... Its in a Seattle machine shop having a new splined coupler made as we speak. -- Darryl Tinnerstet Specialty Automotive McCleary, WA
