Hi Corry,

The VW you mentioned is the Scirroco that I mentioned. It was designed by
the same DMC designer... Guigaro.

The DMC-12 is such a strange car (in a GOOD way). It is an American
concept, style designed by an Italian, engineered by the British and funded
too. It has French running gear, some German components, built in Ireland
and sold to an American market. Now that has to be as unusual as the car
itself...

There are a few cars that I see around that resemble the delorean.
There is a vw and audi two door hatchback from the 80s that look like
the delorean. also the lancia and a few gm vehicles as a recall.
