I use a product called Black Chrome made by Turttle wax. It's a
polish/sealer/cleaner and doesn't contain any kind of paint or dye. I works
great pn the sunshade, air dam, etc and lasts for a month or too. Western
Auto/Parts America used to carry it. So did Home Quarters Warehouse. Both
dropped it though. :((
The only place I managed to find it was at the local True Value. I ordered
a a dozen bottles to get the discount (not to mention I go through a LOT of
it). They're only 3 or 4 bucks a bottle. If you buy some, I buy two at
most. Try it out and see if you like it.
If it's not enough, use Griot's Garage Trim and Bumper Reconditioner. It's
a dye specially made for what you're looking to do. $13 for a 4oz bottle.
I believe Griot's products are worth every penny though. 800.664.5224 or

If you can't find any Black Chrome, email me and I can send you a few
bottles at cost.

I've heard good things about back to black, so I figure it's time for
me to redo my trim. Does anybody in Michigan know where I can buy some
of this? I've tried Meijer and K-mart and all the automotive stores
and can not find anything. I don't feel like ordering it online, but
if I do, how many cans does it take to do a Delorean? Does anybody
have anything else I should use instead of Back to Black? Thanks for
all the help, and don't forget to check out Delorean Michigans
homepage!!
