Sean A sunken "D" in an Alabama River <perk> This sounds like a project that's right up my alley! 20 years ago I salvaged an Amphicar off an abandoned island on Cape Cod. 15 years ago I unsuccessfully tried to raise a sunken Lake Amphibian from a frozen lake in Maine (lost my shirt trying). Anyone ever hear of the Hughes Glomar Explorer? Yup I was there, but even my kids don't believe me about that one! Good luck and keep us informed especially if it has a good left front fender!
