[DML] frame problems

 during my search of a delorean, i spoke with a man who 
was selling his. while decribing the vehicle, he advised 
that the frame had been repaired and renforced, as to mean 
that this was a positive aspect of the vehicle. the man 
then went on to say that deloreans have problems with the 
frame that develope over time.
is there any truth to this possible frame problem. where 
would one look on the delorean to see if a potental car to 
buy has this dreaded problem. i am most likley taking a 
trip to look at a 82 d next week and would like to know if 
this type of problem does realy exist and where to look. 
also if nayone car offer info on what to look at of 
consider on a 5 speed d when looking to buy, please give 
some sugestions.
