As others on this list have pointed out, your car is "worth" what someone else is willing to pay for it (or, what you are willing to take to part with it).
There is too little sales data on the Delorean to have reliable "book" values. In my case, I got a "stated value" insurance policy that wasbased on an appraisal from DMC Houston.
