| Ryan, I was pretty freaked out when I purchased my DeLorean and
started to watch the oil pressure doing what seamed to be "bad things."  In
all actuality,  The pressure will shoot up to 80 when a cold car has been
started and is in the process of warming up.  Once the car has warmed up a
bit, the car should idle with the pressure guage just about horizontal.  It
will then increase (even back up to 80) as the engine is reved (or if you are
actually driving).  Just soulds like it is doing what it is supposed
to!  (Missing oil might be another issue though) Michael Babb VIN 3472 <SNIP> Upon starting the car, the oil light was on and the pressure
gauge was way above 80. When I turn the car off it sits at 60. <SNIP> |
