[DML] oil pressure problem

As I continue to work the bugs out of my 11-day old (to me, anyway) car,
there were some things I expected, like belts, hoses, etc.

When I started the car this morning, though, I had a new issue. Upon
starting the car, the oil light was on and the pressure gauge was way
above 80. When I turn the car off it sits at 60. I just had the oil
and filter changed last week (6.5 quarts were used). I checked the
dipstick and it reads low, but there are only a couple of drops
underneath the car (which have been happening, due to a slight leak on
the timing cover).

Could this be the oil pump? Should I add more oil? Any suggestions
would be appreciated.
