Due to a bad accumulator, and a clogged system, I recently had my air conditioning totally flushed, replaced the old style accumulator with the newer model (and front portion of suction hose), and recharged with R134. Of course I did have to have new seals, oriface tube, O-rings, oil to accumulator and compressor, etc, but the air conditioning is running cold. The only problem was that the local Ford dealer who worked on it could not locate an adapter for the high side of the compressor for this conversion. But all seems well. If a problem occurs I will post it.
