Don't underestimate the usefulness - It would also be useful for one-man 
brake bleeding, although acess to the bleeder screws is usually not so 
much of a problem there. 
I believe tools such as this exist, although without the ability to 
unscrew the bleeder.
FYI - another good reason not to just let the fluid run all over the 
bellhousing is that then it gets on the frame and effectively softens and 
removes the epoxy in a place where you can't repair it without removing 
the transmission. Trying to wash it off afterwards with water just makes 
the clutch get rusty.
