I'll have to check and see if my door light switch is on.  I usually leave it 
off. It's an add on from either DMCJoe or John Hervey... sorry, I forget. Joe 
I think.  Anyway, it wires into the fuse box to provide a handy on-off 
switch. I haven't had a problem for two years until recently... maybe that's it.
