Jon,

Can you please describe which wire was pinched by which bolt?  I believe 
I have the same problem, and I have seen other DeLoreans with the 
"passenger door marker lights stay on" problem.  Even disconnecting the 
switch does not help.  I have assumed there was a ground problem in the 
door, but after ten years of searching I have not found it.
